Life can happen fast. Period. Moving into a new home can certainly cause damage to your walls and ceilings. Maneuvering large furniture around tight corners is a very common cause of damage within your home. Children and Pets can also cause a variety of damage to your drywalled surfaces because they often do not abide by the “no playing inside” rules that we often try to instill in them.

From small dings and dents in your drywall, to larger holes caused by any number of instances, we are more than capable of repairing all damaged areas. Smaller areas of damage can often be fixed by applying a “skim coat” of drywall mud. When coated and sanded, small damaged areas to your drywall becomes impossible to detect after repaired. For lager patches or holes of any size, new sheets of drywall board can be cut and patched, making your walls and ceilings look as if they were never damaged in the first place.

Have you had any plumbing, or roof issues? Drywall does not like to be wet! Old leaky plumbing can drip onto the ceiling or down walls deteriorating drywall to the point of need for replacement. Ice dams in the winter, or old leaking roof systems can have the same effect, sometimes to a larger scale. Wet drywall should be removed and replaced for more than just aesthetic reasons. Water damage of any kind can lead to future problems such as the growth of mold within your home. We can determine the size of the affected areas of drywall and remove/replace only what needs to be to be most cost effective.
